Manga Scan is a personal project of a fictitious online manga reading website, developed mainly for the purpose of learning and practicing my full-stack web development skills. The site offers a simple interface where you can:

  • Consult some manga files
  • Read chapters (not complete, for demonstration purposes)
  • Create a user account
  • Like manga to find them in a personal space

This project allowed me to learn concretely about modern web technologies, while working on a subject that interests me: the world of manga. My main objectives were:

  • Practice building a complete web application, from the database to the user interface
  • Implement user authentication
  • Manage complex states (e.g. likes, favorites) with Redux
  • Work with a secure backend API

This is a fake online manga reading site, designed solely for practice. The content is limited (a few manga and partial chapters) and is not intended to be a real service.
